Can magnets save money on your fuel bill?

The bottom line is the one that counts and based purely on evidence submitted from companies trialling this technology, then the answer is yes! However, not all sites are suitable.

A site inspection was carried out at Atmel in North Tyneside, one of the world's largest microprocessor manufactures by Ecoflow's Independent Distributor Ian Gander's company Magnatech. The plant have 3 x 5,000kw boilers; a sophisticated monitoring system and are able to detect slight variations in consumption and performance.

Magnatech installed "Energyflow"magnets to a 5 Megawatt boiler. "Amazingly within 2 days savings were apparent! Initially they were around1-1.5% but they increased daily. Now even with a load increase of 47% we are still seeing a reduction in gas consumption /kw out of around 15%"

"We realised significant savings were being made and have now fitted them to our other boiler and passed on the information to our HQ in the USA. We were delighted with the results and have installed the domestic units Magnatech supply to our own boilers at home. We know they work!"

Paul heard about trials conducted at a multinational pharmaceutical company in the North East. A spokesman for the company said that initially they were very sceptical but interested. They trialled the "Energyflow" magnets. After 6 weeks, savings of 11% were recorded. "We were amazed at the results. They paid for themselves in a few months and a year on we are still saving 11%+ compared to previous gas usage. Magnatech have now installed energyflow units to all our boilers on site. Magnatech's service was excellent. Although the technology appears to be a black art it certainly works!"

The advantage with the energyflow units over others on the market are that:

• No cutting of pipes
• No interruption to production
• The number of magnets is calculated according to output of the unit
• No maintenance or running costs
• Power loss of magnets calculated to be approximately 1% in 100 years
• Energyflow can be used on any hydrocarbon. Gas or oil.
• No risk money back guarantee.

The magnets are strapped in a specific arrangement on the outside of the pipe. No adjustments are made to the boiler. Sceptics will say it can't work because there is uncertainty about the processes. Does it really matter? If a company is saving 15%+ on their fuel bill then the results speak for themselves.
