ECOLUTION KX4 high efficiency VRF air conditioning systems

ECOLUTION KX4, the VRF multi air conditioning system from MHI has now been further enhanced with new models that deliver increases in energy efficiency of up to 13% from previous models.

The new systems are available in 8hp (22.5kW), 10hp (28.0kW) and 12hp (33.5kW) cooling capacities as both 2-pipe heat pump systems and 3-pipe heat recovery, with CoP levels of up to 4.24 (8hp model). This means 4.0kW of heating can be delivered in to the conditioned space from just 1.0kW of power input.

With the innovation of R410a refrigerant and inverter logic control technology,MHI are able to offer some of the most energy efficient air conditioning systems available and now efficiency has been further enhanced by the development of MHI’s compressor technology with a new design coil within the compressor that reduces the operating current and reduces the power consumption of the outdoor units by up to 10%, meanwhile modifications to the refrigerant circuit and other key components, such as DC fan motors, have increased efficiency further.
