100 years experience in energy saving instruments
July 04th 2007

Chauvin Arnoux is a family owned instrument manufacturer with over 100 years of experience and 350 plus patents to its name. We invented the worlds first ‘multimeter’, the first current clamp, the first exposure meter for photographers and the original Mr Arnoux was also a famous aeronautical engineer who is credited as a pioneer in the development of the tail less plane, or the flying plank as it is more commonly known. The group consists of 4 specialist divisions,Chauvin Arnoux for electrical testing,Metrix for electronic testing, Pyro Control the temperature specialists and Enerdis for control process monitoring.

Chauvin Arnoux has recently had 3 products accepted by the Carbon Trust for the Energy technology List, the CA 8230, the CA 8334 (also known as the Qualistar) and the CA 8352. All 3 products are designed to measure and analyse your power quality and can be used effectively as diagnostic tools for all your energy issues. The CA 8230 is a single phase unit intended for the installer and maintenance user. The CA 8334 is designed for the electrical energy departments and maintenance services in industrial and administrative buildings. The CA 8352 is the flag ship of the range designed for the heavy industrial user or energy supplier who needs to monitor and test to exacting standards. The range is a big success with our customers who like their ease of use and big colour displays which make whatever task you are using them for, simple and easy.

The new Enerium power monitor from Enerdis has received its first award, the prestigious “étoile du design 2007” (Star Design) from the Cité des sciences et d’industrie of Paris. Chosen by a panel drawn from industry, journalism and design, the awards are given to products that demonstrate both design and f u n c t i o n a l i t y excellence. The Enerium has 8 input/outputs that are configurable so you can measure gas, water and thermal energy. So from panel meters to complete automated monitoring solutions for you business needs, Enerdis is the answer to your monitoring questions.
